The Isotube 040 soft elbow consists of round PUR rigid foam covered with a plastic jacket. The insulation can be used in heating and plumbing in accordance with the German Energy Saving Ordinance (EnEV). The PVC sheathing gives the insulation a high-quality appearance and at the same time protects the foam from damage.

The low thermal conductivity of the Isotube 040 Sheet (soft) in combination with the Isotube 040 PUR pipe insulation reduces heat loss from the distribution lines of plumbing and heating installations by up to 80 percent. This not only increases the economic efficiency of the entire system, but also its ecological efficiency.
