Care & Cleaning

Clean faucets are good looking faucets

Bathroom faucets have polished surfaces whose care is essential for the optical state of a valve. However, the water and its mineral components cause deposits that form unpleasant stains if the proper care is missing. In principle, the cleaning of the valve can be done with traditional bathroom cleaners - but they should not be too aggressive as they otherwise could damage the surface of the faucet. Grohe for example has designed GrohClean, a special cleaner for fittings, which preserves the material and at the same time creates a great shine. Faucets, that are being regularly maintained with Grohclean, look like new for years to come.

After some time, more and more lime and other particles from the water adhere to faucets. Especially at the outlet of the valve, heavy dirt accumulates over time, so it is advisable to have a professional cleaner in the house. If you have any questions about the proper cleaning for a faucet or shower - because also they do require expert care - read the care tips in the manual or visit the manufacturer's website. Not to mention the toilet push plates, which often have plastic elements which are more sensitive than a faucet. In any case: With the right cleaning, your bathroom stays always nice and speckless and the fittings stay functional for a long time.
