Application: hot water circulation systems Main areas of application: drinking water systems in building and industrial installations as circulation, storage charging, cooling or heating circuits. Pumped liquids: drinking water and heated drinking water up to a temperature of 65 °C and a hardness of up to 14° dH (carbonate hardness). Pure, thin, non-aggressive and non-explosive mineral oil-free media without solid or long-fiber constituents. Media with a viscosity (kinematic viscosity) of up to 10 mm²/s. Design: Grundfos circulation pumps in the UPS 100 series are glandless inline pumps without stuffing boxes, with equally sized connection ports on opposite sides and corrosion-resistant casings made of brass, bronze or stainless steel. Depending on the size of the pump, they are available as screw-connection or flange-connection pumps. The flange pumps are provided with combination flanges for PN 6 and PN 10. The pump, motor and terminal box form a single unit and are perfectly matched to each other. The partition between the rotor chamber and stator winding is a deep-drawn can that is sealed to the housing and vent plug with only two static seals.
