The thermaliQ:HB2 treatment group is used to demineralize raw water in the initial filling or replenishment of heating systems. The mixed-bed resin in the filling cartridge desaliQ:HB2 removes all salts from the water. This fully demineralized water has a low conductivity and thus reduces galvanic corrosion between metals of different voltage series. The conductivity measuring cell monitors the demineralization products connected to the treatment group. The desaliQ:HB2 filling cartridge is included in the scope of delivery. The conductivity measuring cell has three LEDs. If the conductivity is below 10 uS/cm, the green LED flashes; between 10 and 50 uS/cm, the yellow LED lights up; and at 50 uS/cm or more, the red LED lights up to indicate that the desalination unit needs to be replaced.
