Stand valves
In which areas does a stand valve even make sense?
Stand valves are fittings that do not have a mixing unit and only supply cold or only hot water – therefore, only one hose needs to be connected during installation. Cold water valves are useful, for example, where no hot water is needed or no connection for it is available – in a basement hobby room, for example. Theoretically, you could also connect a mixer tap there and simply leave the hot water hose unused, but firstly, it doesn't look nice and secondly, you still have a hot water mark on the tap even though no hot water is flowing. Kind of stupid.Pedestal taps are useful in workshops, public toilets or at washing places that are used for gardening, for example. Of course, there are also designer taps for more sophisticated tastes, or taps with a raised base or a swivel spout; some can even be mounted on the wall. Many manufacturers also offer cold water valves in the same design to match a bathroom faucet series, so that they do not differ from the other faucets. There are also minimalist-designed stand valves that do not look like a normal faucet at all, but basically just like a separate spout. You can also find these in our shop.
