BWT Rückspülfilter Bolero RF with fittings
Intended use:
The filter is designed for filtering drinking and process water. It protects the water pipes and the connected water-carrying system parts from malfunctions and corrosion damage caused by foreign particles such as rust particles, shavings, sand, hemp, etc. The filters are not suitable for filtering particles larger than 2 mm in diameter, chemically treated circulating water, process water and cooling water for once-through cooling systems. For water with coarse dirt particles, a coarse dirt separator should be installed upstream. The filter is not suitable for oils, greases, solvents, soaps and other lubricating media. It is also not suitable for separating water-soluble substances.
Function:
The raw water flows through the raw water inlet into the filter and from there through the filter element to the pure water outlet. Foreign particles > 90 µm are retained on the inside of the filter fabric. The filter element must be cleaned at regular intervals by backwashing. The control knob is equipped with a slip clutch. If it is turned too hard, a notch will skip, thus preventing damage to the locking system. During backwashing, turning the control knob opens the waste water connection and turns the backwashing element. This removes the particles stuck to the filter fabric and flushes them out.
