Towel rail
Towel rails and bath towel rails – what's the difference?
Bath towel rails are basically immobile, sturdy bars that are screwed to the wall with two mounting points. The stability this provides makes it possible to hang large and heavy bath towels. Towel rails, on the other hand, are usually mounted next to the sink and extend into the room, making them less stable. A well-mounted towel rack might be able to withstand a sauna towel, but in the long run it will struggle to bear the load and in the worst case scenario it could break out of the wall. Imagine the weight of a large, wet bath towel – it's better to use a sturdy bath towel rail for something like that.Towel rails are suitable for small to medium-sized towels, roughly the size of those used for drying hands. You can also mount one or two towel hooks next to the sink, which is of course cheaper in the end. However, a swivel towel rail with two arms offers more flexibility and also looks better. When buying, pay attention to the length of the holder: For example, you wouldn't install an 80cm model next to a corner sink; it would look rather inappropriate. So measure the depth of your sink and then decide which length would look good with it. We look forward to your order!
