These are compatible with other Geberit systems, meet the highest standards of hygiene and quality, and are easy and safe to work with thanks to their press connections. The special feature of the Geberit Mapress carbon steel system is its cost-effectiveness, as it can be used economically in areas where water quality is not the top priority. For example, the version galvanized on the inside and coated with plastic on the outside is suitable for heating and cooling circuits.Geberit also offers Mapress C carbon steel pipes made of unalloyed steel for special applications. The Geberit Mapress C-steel system has press indicators that reliably show any unpressed points. Hygiene is ensured by sealing plugs that protect pipes and fittings from dust and dirt until they are installed. In damp environments, plastic-coated Mapress carbon steel pipes should always be used. A separately available sealing bandage ensures that transitions and molded parts are also reliably protected against moisture and corrosion.
