SYR diaphragm safety valve 1915, 2.5 bar DN 20

The diaphragm safety valve 1915 is used to protect against overpressurization in closed hot water heating systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828. The connection size is to be determined according to the heating output of the heat generator to be protected.

It is important to observe the maximum permissible operating pressure of the system and the resulting maximum response pressure of the safety valve. In Germany, the maximum permissible response pressure for the aforementioned systems is 3 bar.
For systems with higher heat outputs, the following applies: 3 safety valves are permitted for each heat generator.
The safety valve 1915 is a piece of equipment with a safety function in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC for pressurized containers that are heated by fire or other means for the generation of steam or hot water in accordance with Art. 3 para. 1.2 to category IV.

The diaphragm safety valve is designed with an upstream seat seal that is separate from the diaphragm. It can be vented using the rotary handle. The seat and seal can be cleaned after removing the top section without changing the set pressure.
