The Duo FR is the entry-level filter in the SYR filter program. It is used as a Filter for drinking water installations according to DIN 1988. It is installed with the help of the fully rotatable integrated connection flange. The Duo FR works in all installation positions. Due to its very compact design, it can also be used to protect individual devices (dishwashers, drinking water heaters, etc.) .
Application
The Duo FR is designed as a manual back-flushing filter in connection sizes DN 20 - DN 25. The cascade-shaped filter insert is made of plastic.
Maintenance
The required maintenance is indicated by a maintenance indicator on the top of the filter. However, DIN 1988 stipulates that the filter must be backwashed at least every 2 months. No special tools are required to maintain the Duo FR. To maintain the filter, open the ball valve and turn the lower part of the filter 2-3 . After that, the ball valve must be closed again. The water supply is also carried out during the backwashing with filtered water
